"At some point I must wonder whether my nature to keep my distance is akin to insanity, or an irrational fear.Over the years I have denied myself friends, family; allies, companions. Chances at peace or to make life easier on myself. There was however always solace to be found in the woods, in Faizel, forever by my side, and the moons in the night sky.I should wonder whether the shadows I chase are also a form of self.. sabotage. The connection I feel just a different madness. There are few more in tune with the land than a dryad, is it my place to be among even the trees when shunned by one so entwined?Had I tried for a different life I would have always felt I do not belong; as the trappings of obligations begin to appear, the discomfort sets in. The scars that forest holds are deep and well justified. With more answers the truth of the shadows will become clearer. I can only hope what I see to be the better path is not false.For now if I can stay, even for a little while, I cannot deny the comfort of home."

Cade, Raven, and Ailen

These three form the scarlet troupe. Generally speaking more traditional adventurer/mercenary types, looking to help people. Cade's name has been constantly uncertain, usually a range of spellings of Khane. I am still unhappy with it.Cade and Ailen are brothers, and Raven effectively their sister. Toying with the idea of 'ravenfound' being a term for ophans found in the woods. The trio all know how to sword and board, Ailen likes his axe and Raven prefers the crossbow. Cade is slightly more rogue, and likes to get his hands on new technology.WIP
Kain, the White Knight of Chrysamine
Much like his namesake, Kain of 'Legacy of Kain'. Not strictly meant to be evil, just a disagreement with his kingdom.Llewellyn (Gwen's brother)

Sometimes called a witch. White haired, elven. Some degree of elvish elitism, constantly annoyed that humans fall into their distasteful stereotypes. Briefly joined a group of murderhobos when I tried D&D once.Hiraeth
